SR71 Handle pole ?

I've been a huge fan of 24/7 for a long time, and I know their product is always a little more expensive, but this is just insane. $1700.00 just for a pole???????? Does anyone have one of these and if so how are they?

Royalflush and SJ13 both have them, actually, think Chick sold his with his old red SJ............. Nice, but not worth it....

Especially not worth it when for $600 you get the complete X Metal pole,bracket,bolts and breathers .

I had one, but I don't think it was a composite model. If I'm not mistaken, Chris offered them in fiberglass OR composite at one time. I bought mine for $400 (including the chinpad!) from a friend who didn't like it because it was shorter than stock length.

Very nice pole, but had trouble tightening it up---of course that was because of the billet Blowsion bracket more so than the pole. Also was a little scared to crank down too hard for fear of damaging the pole.
