squish on a 5 mil stroker?

lowered the comp on this motor with a diff mrd head slab,squish is right around 50 with a stock head gasket. Stock gasket looks to be 53. I have a couple copper gaskets that are about 22 to 23. would this be to narrow a squish.

Aprox how many pounds of compression would be gained going from a squish of 50 to 22?

That would not be enough squish. Just wait until you get all your carbs stuff worked out first.

I'd say .045" would be your minimum depending on the fuel octane, compression and bore size.
