The Destroyer sponsons (for 90-07 SJ) on my 2014 SJ are set further back than the recommended installation of 37 inches from the rear. These are much thicker and more aggresive than the Desroyer for the 08+. They are now 32 inches from the rear. I am thinking about moving them forward and was wondering what I should do with the existing holes, fiberglass, or fill with marine-tex or 5200? Should i be concerned with the integrity of the hull after relocating if i use marine-tex or 5200? Thoughts on how this will affect handling?
