I got my ski about a month ago and it's that time to start trying out some tricks.

I bought a Specialized Deviant Carbon Helmet. I didn't want to go the MX way since most of the helmets have a lot of foam padding inside and I was thinking it might get too heavy.

I ended up buying a Specialized Deviant Carbon helmet. It was an older model (08' if i'm not mistaken) so I got it at a good price.
What I like about it is compared to the other helmets this one is light since it's made of carbon, has basically no foam padding inside and plenty of drainage.

unnamed (5).jpg It also has a strap in the back that keeps it snug

I'll be updating this post in the near future to let you guys know how the helmet is holding up. I'm in the learning phase now so the helmet will probably be put to the test ha (hoping it won't though)

Well it's been almost a year now. just updating the post. I am still using the same helmet (saved me a few face impacts on the pole in the beginning) . It's only showing some minor corrosion on the metal parts on the helmet holding the strap.
It's very light and drainage is awesome. Plus it floats! haha I'd definitely recommend this helmet if it's available to you. Only thing I had to do was replace the velcro for the padding. thinking they were old since it was on display for awhile.
