SX/SXi/SXi Pro Sorry guys

I hate to post a couch question here, but I'm not getting any answers from any other sites.

We have a 95 750 zxi that is having issues after being sank by skanks last year. My current question is the battery connections. I have red to pos and black to neg, but can't remember where the paired wires go. One is black with a blue stripe with red bands. The other is black with red bands. And they are paired with an eyelet.

Any thoughts?

They are not spare floating wires. They were hooked up last year, but I can't remember what side. Not sure where they go, because they both go into a loom, then the loom splits. One split goes to the vts and the other goes under the bars and then to the gages, on/off etc... I think the black with red band goes to the vts, because one that matches daylights just shy of the vts.

That being said, they could be grounds, but I want to be sure before I hook them up.

A guy named Papa Dave chimed in on the other site and said the paired wires go to the neg side of the batt.
