Solas mag to wear ring gap?

So when I put my solas mag pump up to my OEM wear ring there is a gap on the inside but the outside is tight. (See picture) Is this normal or am I missing something? What are my options? Thanks

Since no one answered yet, here's the skinny: Don't worry about it, it's normal, works well for me. The step/ lip on the forward part of the Solas housing measures about 0.015" less than stock. Even the stock pump does not fill that area of the wear ring all the way- there is a small gap there. Not to worry!
