Super Jet Solas mag, hi water pressure and cool motor

Installed a Solas mag in my SN
seeing much higher water pressure in the cooling system
It wants to blow off cooling lines :eek2:
also the pisser off the head is flowing lots of water and seems to stay pretty cool (80 - 90s)
in spite of a 4 mm restrictor
should I go smaller on the restrictor?
pipe is cool and headpipe pisser is a little hotter, maybe high 90s.

I haven't noticed much higher pressure with my solas. Are you running dual cooling? Maybe the old stock pump was a little clogged? I'd try the smaller restrictor and see if that helps.

yes on the dual cooling, both with oem and solas
maybe my oem was so worn it wasnt delivering the pressure
looking for a Jetworks variable restrictor now
