You're going to love the fixed steer hood. My '07 RN is set up as a fixed steer and it's a blast!

I went fixie last season, never going back! Come from an X2, I just could not get used the a handpole.

You are so right! I was shocked at the low end power difference. My x2 runs great ...for a x2. But the difference is shocking. Also helps that the sj has some mods, b pipe, msd cdi, light weight flywheel and h/c head. I still enjoy the x2 for flat water riding here in ohio. The sj is a blast in lake michigan surf!
