SN or RN waterbox?

i just bought a BOB hull and am transferring parts from a 94 SN. The guy I bought it from said I could run the SN waterbox but I see a lot of people using the RN waterbox. Can I use the SN box or will I run into problems? Thanks

I think you could. I find a RN box is a better alternative but a sn box will work fine.

Eventually I think I'll switch it out but like anyone I want to get this thing finished and ride it asap! Then I can worry about different parts once I have my fill of 42 degree water riding.

2nd note: does an AM aluminum waterbox make it louder? I had one on my 550 a while back and people complained of the noise

Yes. Stock RN waterbox is the best for a mild setup motor IMO. I would only go am waterbox if you have a large displacement motor
