Only got 2 choices, Advent or Igni-Pro. To OP if its time to tear motor apart for yearly inspection ya might as well port it IMO. On the other hand the ignition will support the mods you have and increase gains on future mods. If you plan on racing you may want to check class specific rules on both.

I think the Advent is a great upgrade for the cash, you will like it better then the advance. That Igni-Pro looks tempting, I like the programmable options. I don't think it runs off the battery like the advent does but not sure, anyone use one? Likes or dislikes (other then the price tag)?

how easy to set the advent,do you have to always play whit the units,or you buy it plug it and ride it?

u can get the advent set with 4 different curves, its very easy to set. you can get a remote switch for it so u dont have to pull it out of the ebox to set it.
