How correct are the sizes I am a 32x30 most of the time sometimes 32x32. Is the waist really 32" or do they run big/small?

they run small. all slippery products do..
Exept the large knee/shingards.

they do run small but have a adjustable clip waist,you will need a 32 they are hard to keep from falling down when wet

The inside of the band has some rubber girpper stuff around it and the waist is dead on for size IMO. I wear a 30 and the 30 pants with the adjusters in the center of their range, fits snug over shorts but they can't fall down that way.

I wear a 36 and the same size switch pants were too small.
