Have a stock 61x with stock single sbn 44. I just put a protec A body (stainless chamber) on and took it for a ride. Ran perfect before with stock exhaust. Only thing I changed in the carb was pilot jet (120 now).
Anytime the ski gets upside down it will only run around 1/4 throttle And not rev any higher for aa minute or so then just rev up slowley and its fine again. It doesn't sound like a temp sensor it just feels like I'm pulling a ton of weight and can't get going. I've even rolled the ski over when running just standing on the shore and it does it. Even did it a few times if I turned really sharp. I've shut the ski off right away when this happens and it starts right up and idles just fine but still revs low. Any help? Carb rebuild time?
