I got a little careless unloading my ski off a buddy's trailer today, kinda dropped it in some shallow water.
Anyway, I get about 200 yards out and the ski starts bogging so hard I can't even get the nose to come out of the water. I head for shore thinking the altitude is really killing it and I'll adjust the carb.
Get the hood off and it is FULL of water. . . .
Fortunately it didn't end the day - Darrin had a roll of duct tape (red even!) that fixed 'er right up.
Tomorrow night: glass & epoxy.
