skat trak prop binding up

I have a skat trak swirl prop and when I go to put it on my shaft it binds on the front hub of the stator. Could this be because the prop has been set back too far?. Right before it binds up the blades are way closer to the veins then with my solas supra. Also could this be a Magnum prop? I got it on ebay cheap and it just had a power tune from impro's so i would like to use it. Can I get the hub machined to run this prop? thanx

Ryan

EDIT: I just measured two props, the trailing edge of the skat trak is 10.0mm away from the top rim of the stator housing and the solas trailing edge is 16.1mm away from the same point when its snug on the shaft

EDIT #2: I just put the stator housing on my dremel lathe and now it fits. I just had to to grind a little bit of the front of the stator hub to get it to work. The trailing edge of the blades now sit 9.5mm from the rim of the stator housing.

Steve,
Sorry, its for a 144mm superjet pump. I had to grind only a tiny bit on the stator housing to get the prop to clear. There is a small ridge on the inside of the prop that was binding on the stator hub. I emailed impros with some details to try and find out if the prop has already been set back. The blades really sit far back in the wear ring compared to the solas.
