FX-1 skat 18/23 swirl.....any good?

talked to dave at impros and he said the skat-trac 18/23 swirl impeller is a good alteritve to doing a 144 pump swap. anyone ever try this impeller? also, we all bore our nozzles on the 440/550's. would this give some added BRAPP and if so bore how much?

yeah, my fx1 has a skat 18/23 swirl and a Jetworks taper-bored nozzle. way better than stock but not as good as 144 with the right impeller. give me a call (PM me if you don't have my number still) you can come down and try it.

Good info, I was thinking about this just last night and thinking about trying the bored nozzle/ swirl combo before I commit to a 144. Thanks guy's

take a look at what impeller you have on there now. if you dont have a tool for removal order one with the swirl. i had to go the pipewrench route and marred up the old solas
