Interesting... my raider nozzle is all plastic and measures 87mm ID.
The rubber trim ring sounds like it would be great for surf use; can you post a picture of it.

I'm thinking the pump might be smaller because most reduction nozzles are 83mm on 144mm pumps and the steering nozzles are usually a few millimeters more.
Maybe crab's talking about the reduction nozzle size and not the steering nozzle?

I though the reduction nossel on OEM SJ were 81mm is the Raider 83mm stock? I need to measure some. I have both at home off the boat.

I'm at 82.5mm on the stock nozzle and 83mm on the raider.
Also the raider nozzle is a lot thicker so it can be bored out more.
