I think the pump from the 650 will have a big hole on the lower port side of the pump that the '93 and earlier SJ came with for the stock bilge siphon system. If I remember correctly, the '91 I had came with this setup. I think this extra hole was at least 1/2" in diameter. The later pumps on the 701 had a different bilge siphon setup that's hooked up to the exit nozzle and didn't have this extra hole in the middle of the pump. You might want to try plugging that big hole if that pump has this setup, or try finding the extra rubber plumbing to create an older style bilge siphon for you '94. I wouldn't leave it unplugged as a big hole because it's a pretty big hole to have water blowing out of.
Either way, the actual pump setup and impeller is interchangeable, you'll just have to deal with the old bilge siphon hole. If it were my SJ, I'd plug this big hold with JB weld and ensure it's a smooth surface on the inside of the pump. After that just make sure you're running an electric bilge pump.
