I know this belongs in driveline but i need a quick answer and it seems that people tend to awnser quicker here so ....

ok i sold this pump minus the impellar and i cant seem to figure out how to get the impellar out and off of this pump so i can ship it. Ive seen those pump removal tools with the splines but there doesnt apear to be anywhere to put it. Anyway a quick how to to get me moving along would be very helpful. Thanks:smile:

The spline tool goes on the splines at the end of the shaft. Put a wrench on the shaft first (and any applicable impeller tool, if any) then put the spline holder tool on, and put it in a vice.
Then use the wrench on the impeller (perhaps with tool).
It's reverse threaded. It will take quite a bit of force to get it off. May need a cheater bar.

depending on how long the impellar has been on there, you may need to take it to a shop like we did ( we had a prop tool ). although mine is a kawi, a prop is a prop. and my dad broke a wrench, and a tool bench trying to break my prop free.
