Are the plug boots on the stock SJ wires (2002 if I need to be specific) the type that they will screw off or do I have to cut them if I plan to put the grey MSD's on (bought from Yamacat a while back)?

my older superjets had a metal HOOK in the plug wire.

they dont screw off like kawasaki plugs from what I recall.

I think just pull them out, and in the process you will see the 'hook' thing of wire im talking about.

its a REALLY crappy way to do it in my opinion, I generally crimp and solder plug caps when I replace them.

Find a local speed shop and get the HEI Stainless 90 degree short terminal ends, they should have them. Thats what comes in that kit that MSD makes.
