Double thread- saving space:smile:

I was thinking about getting some aftermarket handlebars w cross bar for my SJ. Is there a significant difference between the 0 degree and the 4 dgree bars?
Which do you guys find better for control?

Also looking at a worx grate. How do they change the performance in flat water? Do they keep the arse in the water more rather than it sliding out?

Wanting to get into the:brap:

Cheers

Just riding in flat water you wont notice too much of a difference by switching grates. But when you get into some choppy stuff an aftermarket grate stuffs the impeller and pump with water. I ride in some choppy lakes and the worx 201 has been one of the best mods I could have made.:Banane01:

But when do you ever really ride in flat water? Adding a Worx 201 is the first mod everyone should make - makes a huge difference to rideability.

On the bars, go with zero degree. As you get more advanced, you'll start to pay big bucks to get your weight forward any way you can. Adding zero degree bars now is a cheap way to get an inch further forward. After that you're looking at new steering plates and shortened poles. Every inch counts!

Definately... Its just that if you were on the lake in early morn and its glass you wouldn't know the difference. However, like you say... when are you ever riding in water like that, so Im with ya. And I agree, one of the best mods early on.

I sortened my stock sj pole, and I"m using the xmetal bars and ride plate! Took a bit to get used to, but I like it alot now! I can move foreward in the tray alot further. The xmetal bars and turnplate with umi bearing is 195.

I really want a worx grate. I ride choppy lakes, and I'm all over the place because the pump un hooks so easy.

So ya reckon get a grate for the fitrst mod, I was lokking at the 201, then some 0 degree bars?

My ski is completely stock btw, Top of the list is actually a flush kit!

Footholds would probs be good too eh?

That'll work. Budget a prop in there at some point too - but down the road after the grate and footholds.
