I know this has been talked about before but how much does a stripped down SJ gas tank weigh?

Ok, the weight of an SXR gas tank with the factory pickup in it is 9 lbs .6 ozs. Anyone know on the SJ I remember it being light but I never weighed it. They have to be thinner, I think Iremember a recall for SJ tanks splitting open in '03.

weighed one yesterday... just under 5lbs. no pickups
