SJ Factory Mod Chamber Divider?

I just bought a mod chamber and it has a divider in it. It's located by the end of the pipe right before the stinger. Has anyone ever seen this before?

they all have a piece of aluminum in the chamber that makes it difficult to bend it exactly how you want, if thats what you mean.

Some early ones don't have it. It hurts your power, but it helps keep the chamber from cracking.

I guess it would make it more difficult to bend. I didn't think it was there for strength, it divides the flow for the last two inches of the pipe. My limited chamber doesn't have one.
