650/X-2 side draft set up questions

So i am thinking of puttin a side draft set up on my kaw 650. what are the pros and cons?

Okay I pretty much desided to just go with vertical intake instead. I had found a side draft intake for really cheap so I was thing about it but it sounds more like a head ake than its worth.
