Show "American Hotrod" on Discovery

Have you guys seen this show.......what a sh** working environment. That shop has a hellified turnover rate. I could not imagine working under such rediculous deadlines and bitchy bosses :bigeyes: I guess you have to to be competative but man, talk about the workers carrying the weight of the company. They must get paid pretty well to stay there. They even stress out their vendors.

Their last painter was awsome but quit b/c Boyd was pushing him so hard he could not spend any time with his wife and kid. Maybe some business owners out there have a different perspective on how that shop is run? Looks like at train wreck every week to me.

I saw the UMI thing too it said it on the helicopter too. Looks like an identical logo gotta be the same. I am into cars too and never heard anything about UMI making car parts or maybe I have and never put 2and 2 together.

i think umi only makes the ls1 motors but i thought it was more for the trucks than cars
