Should I use a flex additive ?

Im ordering the supplies to paint my ski. My buddy that paints cars is helping me and teaching me to paint. Anyway he suggested that I might want to use a flex additive. Is there any drawbacks to using the additive? What does everybody else do on there skis?

Most people don't. It won't gloss quite as well. Reinforce well and don't worry about it.

I used PPG Omni on my ski and asked the people at the paint shop about a flex additive.

They said dont worry about it. Most of the "flex additive" is gone within 6 months of shooting. You are left with plain old paint.

i got my hands on my choice from 9 colors and 3 candies of hok or any ppg color i want free:1244: :biggrin: its nice that have friends that do custom $9000.00 paint jobs and have alot of extra hok paint. he always orders way more then he is supposed to.
