What company or services do you guys use? Just looking for starting points. I want to be able to provide potential buyers with a general idea of the cost of shipping. I think this would be a good thread to start for people to reference as well.

Thanks,

Bobby

U ship. There's probably 50 threads already. But you're right, a single stickies thread would be awesome. Uship, I think there's a few other forum type sites where you post up, then people bid on them

thanks dude....i think it would be cool to have a thread in the tech section or hulls for sale section

John at UNIshippers shipped an SJ hull from Florida to Ohio for either $145 or $165 for me (can't remember the exact number). Both locations had forklifts, so that might have saved some money. Very great customer service. John is a frequent poster on Green Hulk, so he is quite familiar with shipping big and small skis.

Write one up. I'll sticky it.
The solution to "wouldn't it be cool" and "it would be nice if" is to step up and do it.

I was looking for suggestions on purchasing a ski and shipping it. The seller is willing to ship but wants me to arrange shipping. How do you guys usually do it. Is there a company that will crate it and ship it, or do I need to convince the seller to crate it and have the shipping company come and pick it up?

Now a couple of question on paying someone. Does anyone use an escrow company? Do you just pay the seller and trust he will ship it with a valid title? I don't want to get taken but also don't want to be hard to work with? Any suggestions? Thanks

Dustin
