Setup/tuning on a Frankenstien motor *timing question*

I am running this setup through a stock 61x exhaust, with a stockk 44 carb. I know carter b has had this setup in one of his blasters. I can not get it running right. What is the setup in the carb i should be running.... jets, needle, pop-off, screws? Any help would be amazing! Thanks guys!

Timing: Since the port timing is different on a 61x cylinder, and im using a 62t cylinder now, should i advance/retard my timing any? I would like to get this figured out here soon as im starting to get aggravated, haha!

All depends on the setup...Is this a stock top end and stock head? Are you putting this in a Superjet or a WB1? How big is your prop, is you nozzle bored? These all can make a difference as to how much timing you can run safely on 93* pump fuel I'm presuming... as a base line run stock until you have the combination runnig well then you can always come back and experiment with more timing. Yes I feel that in a properly stock ported not too high compression, you can run 24-25* of timing with a MSD Enhancer. (not stock CDI with no retard curve)
