Freestyle Setting up new CF tank

My Limited SXR that was built by Ultimate Watercraft has a CF tank fitting with the flexible fuel lines zip tied to a solid rod, and the one way screened clunks at the end. So essentially solid lines, one for each carb, and no other fuel filter other than the one-way screened clunks.

Setting up my new CF tank for my FX-1 and wondering whether I should go solid lines in the tank, or flexible (solid top, flex bottom) to allow the clunks to move with the fuel. Allowing them to slosh with the fuel sounds like a good idea, but I'm curious if the lines will actually move with the fuel after they harden a bit (even OEM lines get stiff in the tank), or if the flex lines may curl way off bottom. The clunk isn't heavy enough to weigh them down.

suggestions?

I've seen flexible (fuel line) used, and you zip tie the line(s) together to something like a piece of coat hanger or metal rod to keep them straight. In my tank, I have what looks like surgical tubing for pick-up line. It's super flexy and allows my clunk to keep it at the bottom. I would do whatever is most convienent for you. I don't think it really matters.

Got two of those tanks in my shop going into separate builds.Wondering the same thing but thinking l will run the rods down so far and then 2"-3" from bottom use flexible. Both build will be duel carb set ups.

Thinking if Carl put them in the tank you should use them.

We used oem metal pickup lines and attached everything with a short piece of oem fuel line held by spring clamps or crimped style clamps. This is working fine on three skis so far.
