SXR set back mag pump and my drive shaft is short

SXR driveshaft 27 inches roughly

Extended nose impeller to make up the pump being set back is 4.8 inches

I'm still 1 inch short my couplers are approximately 3/4 to 1 inch from being seated within themselves

You need to make a spacer to put in the prop so the driveshaft has something to bottom out on.

When this is done how much of the splines is engaged I would measure my self but motor pump and shaft are sitting on a bench in my garage due to other issues

I don't remember but It was under an 1inch. I used a a stainless bolt with a piece of rubber in between spacer nd driveshaft. You should mock it up and make measurements.

SWEET i appreciate the help man if my memory serves me correctly we are running about the same set up. dasa 970 novi 48 and factory dry pipe. How long is a a tank of fuel lasting for you

I have never run a DASA top end. Just limiteds for me.
