Not sure I'm calling it the right thing but what is that open port that goes between the intakes on dual carb manifolds there for? I've heard of people filling them but can't remember why and can't seem to find those threads again.
It summary it says, the crossover helps with the pulse signal on carbs running a single fuel pump like most stock 38's. If running two fuel pumps and therefore two pulse fittings, then filling the crossover cleans up the pulse signal to each carb and makes them easier to tune. I'm all about that!
