running lines for duel cooling

Ok well I have fitted my duel cooling in the pump and this weekend i will have my engine in and ski ready to go!!! But first i need to sort out how to run my cooling lines + flush kit..

Well i have taken some photos, what i have is westcoast inlet manifold + westcoast exhaust + westcoast cone..

Here are some pics..

How many water pissers do i need to run, should i be restricting temp etc..

Run both in lines to manifold and plug that third port. Run one line off the head to a pisser, the other one off the head to the lower fitting on the head pipe. Connect the upper fitting on the head pipe to the stinger with a T in between that goes to a pisser.

I am not an x2 guy, but this is the general way to run dual cooling for a wet pipe. Change the routing as need to fit your particular app...

Do a search for factory b-pipe dual cooling setups, and that will give you and idea of what you need to do...

there are two rules of thoughts in dual cooling, one has both supply lines loading the one circuit as Mustang said above, the other has one line cooling the exhaust while the other is cooling the engine.

Read up and decide which is best for you. Personally, I have both supply lines going to the exhaust manifold and feeding the treating the entire system as a single circuit.

Whatever you do, run a restrictor in between the T that is going from the head pipe to the pisser and the stinger.

Cheers..

as im using this ski in the surf it would be advantages to have both into the manifold as a safty .. Now last time this manifold was used it had 3 elbows so assuming it was plumbed different to what was sudgested above.. my mates ski has two pissers comming off the head and runs a seperate cooling for his pipe with another pisser..

Yes, I run both inlet hoses to the manifold for safety. If one get's clogged up, the engine and pipe will still cool...

I run a pisser off the front of the head with no restrictions, and another pisser off the head pipe that has the T to the stinger in it.

As for the 3 cooling outlets in the manifold, I cannot give you any advise on that. Sorry...

Remember, that you can run an engine too cool and cause damage, so don't get too carried away with the cooling...
