Freestyle Running external HV fuel pump

I need to run the high volume external pump with my Mikuni 46's, I'm getting too much interference with exhaust hose in my FX-1 with DASA 850 PV motor/intake. So pulled the carb body pump off and turned them around so diaphragm is facing the cylinder.

With the stock carb body pumps I run a size 70 jet restrictor.

Should I leave it at 70 with the high volume pump or go up?

I used a #60 in the return with remote pumps on my Seadoo. I also used a cheap auto zone fuel pressure gauge to measure how much return pressure I had. I can't remember what the target back pressure was but I got it off the Novi site in the tech section.

Nice im gonna run dual 46s thinking of doing same thing, where did u get block off plates

Hot Products sells them and I bought mine from Mike at Optima. Great guy to do business with. The OEM Mikuni ones are cheap, with a little buffing they look great. Keep in mind that the high volume pump inlet is a 3/8" fitting. Instead of running 3/8" into the tank and a larger clunk, I have two 1/4" lines into a Y with a 3/8 outlet.
