RRP pole with XFT hood ?

Just picked up an XFT x-9 hood and was wondering how the Rick Roy pole worked with this hood. Any one use this set up ?

one of the skis in my shed has a rrp and xft hood with short turn pate etc works fine but the bars come so close to hitting the hood when on fully turned either way have actually hit knuckles on hood b4 but the rrp ast steering and bars would be perfect!!!

Just to clarify the fit question. I have a -2 umi , when mounted with the XFT x-9 hood , the bend in the pole at the turn plate just seems to be to steep..... It just does not flow and hits the hood at an odd angle . I want to make sure the rrp set up will not be the same BEFORE I order.
