RRP cast pole cut tube length??/

I am installing RRP cast pole with lowered RRP pole bracket and blowsion shortened steering .
I am 6'1" and ride buoys and surf ride with this ski.
My OEM pole was at -4" before i broke it.

Any advice of what to cut from the supplied pole length?

Also, please confirm i need a Pre-08 steering cable??

Don't cut it at all and try it. Then cut it down a couple/few inches at a time until you like it. If you cut too short new poles are cheap.

Another option as a starting point. if you liked the length before, try to measure your old set up from grip to poll pivot. Temporarily Moch your new set up into ski and remeasure grip to pivot, adjust/cut tubes as needed

full length. but slide the tubes all the way in, if it feels to long after riding, then trim 1" off. If feels short, you have 2" +/- you can extend it.
