300/440/550 routing water lines??????

hi all im new here been riding kawi's about ten years!!! i just picked up a stock 92sx 550 and installed some aftermaket parts i had lay'n around... intake & exhaust manifolds, pipe set up, water box, milled head, s.b. 44, b.p. & bored pump, ride plate, grate, braces, quick steer, pole spring & brace, finger throttle etc... my problem is the aftermarket "alfa" aluminum dual cooling manifold and a two piece kirker pipe! i've alway ran factory pipe sets and never had this kind(but it was free) problem is i have 2 hose lines on the manifold, 2 on the top pipe and 1 on the lower pipe.... as well as the head line to firewall line??? any one have a spec sheet or routing info for these lines? thanks

sure usually two lines go into the exhaust manifold and two exit the head, bypass on line out the side of the ski and run the other line to the pipe its pretty simple.

but what do i do with the other lines? one on the head.... 2 on the manifold.... 2 on the top pipe(off the manifold).... 1 on the lower pipe... 6 total!!!!!! see the pics can someone spell it out for me???? im stuck on stupid rite now thanks

has some pics of how the waterlines are run and i will do my best

1. one inlet hose to each barb on the exhaust manifold(D and f)
2.Nows where you need to add another 3/8 barb to your head you need a C and a C2 essentially. run hose from C to A. for C2 run it strait to a 3/8ths bypass fitting on the hull you will need 2 3/8s bypasses.
3.run a 3/8ths hose from B to E.
4. In the middle of the house form B to E place a 3/8s t fitting. on the side heading to E place a restrictor in the line(carb jets work great) andconnect to the t connector
5. runn a 3/8s hose off the t connector to your second water bypass in the hull.

and ta da dual cooling

hey wakeeatter thanks for the help... but i have a few Q's 1st "d & f" on the manifold go to each other or where? second what do you mean "bypass"= pisser??? three, i dont have a "c2" right now so where would that line go instead for now... and 4 which line goes to my pump? thanks panman

alright yall here are some pics, i think i got it al figure out from pics of other 550's and a diagram floating aroun pwc today, all except the manifold lines!!!

yes i only have 1 pump line and 1 head line.... i was thinking about adding a second cause i have the pump out getting worked on right now, but i have no way of a second line thru the hull.....

what are the general consences on this project?????? thanks panman

you can get your other water line by using the bilge line. drill and tap your pump and run those two to your exhaust manifold. or you cap one of the fittings off on the manifold and just use one water line. cant tell by your pics but, lloks like your head would need to be tapped also
