Routing gas lines, etc...

Alright here is my dilemmaa...I just finished painting my ski and am in the process of putting it back together. When I smoothed the body out I filled in the rivet holes in the hood seal area where those little mounts are used to tie up the gas lines, etc. Now my question is should I go get new mounts and redrill the holes or would I be okay zip tying gas lines and electrics to the long exhaust tube. Does the exhaust tube get to hot to mount it there or what? Any thoughts or suggestions?

My electrical is zip tied to the exhaust. Fugly, but it works.

You can buy little plastic things that stick on that you put the zipties through, SXRs have them, I think they're a 3M product so you should be able to find them at a hardware store locally.

get the 3m things that stick but make sure you clean the area your going to stick it to and heat up the area and the 3m sticky things too .

You can then use wire ties to hold up the gas lines or just put a piece of plastic flexible wire covering over them too .:biggrin:
