Freestyle Rods for stroker cranks - where to get

I was thinking to upgrade my motor for next season, by making it a stroker. Preferably 5mm.

I do not know where to get such parts and what lenght should they be. Can someoone help out with that? I want to use oem 61x ported cyl or go bigbore with a 62T - what you guys think? I need to run pump gas too...

choices, choices, choices... small stroker e.g 5mm, or SS big bore (e.g. 845 cc range).... I have all the bolt ons, skills are devloping but hit and power must be improved, considering a tight Eastern European budget.... also better to have the hull I have and larger motor or short/light hull and motor i have currently.... this is over my head, I just wanna ride and ride strong without motor failures

The rods are the same on the +5 stroker cranks than on normal cranks.... The webs are different, the pin is moved a bit further on the outside...

The rod length on a stroker engine can, and often is longer than stock but this has nothing to do with the stroke of your engine. However long the rod is it will still go up and down by the same amount so the stroke will remain the same. As it says above to alter the stroke you need to move the crank pin.

And build a cylinder to fit at the same time so the port mapping fits the +5mm stroked crankshaft.
Most 5mm cranks use the stock or hot rod standard length rods. There's a few that build them with the Kawasaki long rod and use the short height C.D. Kawasaki pistons.

Thank you. I do know that port timing has to be recalculated when I change the stroke, I did not realize however that The idea was to move the pin... juust shows my lack of knowledge (or rather not seing a stroker crank in real life as well). I guess building a stroker crank locally and trying out methods to machine it, it would be a better idea just to get the whole piece. I do however, have contact with a power boat F2 team (big 2 strokes) and could try it...

But one more question stroker or SS with larger cc's?I am considering the mild stroke of 5-6mm and fit that motor in a short hull for BF and roll practice.

From personal experience, it's most cost effective to do it right (have it done right?) the first time.
