looking for opinions from the gurus here.... Are tubbies going to benefit my boat? 02 Rn sj with a massive rocker and a total of 12" cut out of the length? Considering making some compable to the oem ones on the 08-up's

I have a 2010 SJ with front rocker and "re-positioned" Blowsion Destroyers. Stock flush cut rideplate. Absolutely love how it handles in the surf. Slides and slashes great. Almost have no interest in aftermarket hulls now although I have ridden a Krash JB-1 and it handled the surf very well. That's another ski with tons of tubby action going on with a nice rocker.

Tubbies are a must for a SJ... Only thing you may have to consider is having 12" cut off the SJ is going to make it ride more nose high. Putting Tubbies on the hull is going to ad buoyancy to the nose so you may want your pole shorter and footholds further forward depending on your riding style to keep your weight over the nose more easily
