Riser Bars Chin Pad?

Location
Utah
I have a set of 50mm riser bars along with a RRP steering system ordered for my RN. My question is, will I have to trim my chin pad to clear the bars? Anybody got a pic showing this?
Thanks!

Yes you do. I fitted a new cable and installed the rrp riser bars and turn plate, the bars will not clear the pad. I took around half the staples out and trimmed a significant amount of foam off and then using a little grinder trimmed the plastic until it cleared. Once do restapled it, it looked good. Just remember to use stainless staples. Best of luck.

That's what I was looking for. Thanks! On the turn plate, how far out did you go on mounting the cable? I'm looking for a good starting point, I'm guessing the further out you go the more responsive?

My cable is on the farthest setting on the turnplate as is an aftermarket one which allows it to. Be carefull not to put your cable under strain. It needs to hit the steering stops before the cable bottoms out. Farthest out on the turnplate and nearest in the nozzle will give you the most throw, again exercise caution with cable.
