whats with ring end gap..The book calls for .008-.016..

the new rings are .025 , what the he!! RIK rings

Run it, that ring end gap is not excessive, what you don't want is too little ring end gap which lets the ring ends butt together.

Thanks for the input,, Yea well i always check to make sure there not to tight but just don't remember seeing that large of a gap before...

is this common to see with new rings these days or did I just get lucky with some bad ones !!!!
