Took the KLX out for a bit this weekend, a little snow and no studs makes you feel like a circle track racer. Going to get some studs soon to hit the lakes.

Sorry no action pics.

I tried to ride down the street once in the snow on my CR250R. I made it about one hundred yards and then proceeded to slide sideways for the next hundred yards. Went backwards for a few more yards and crashed completely backwards still moving about 10 miles an hour. I then walked my bike home and gave up riding anything with two wheels on snowy streets.

How did I get here?

If the streets are slick at all with ice, don't expect to see me on 2 wheels.

Otherwise, I'm on 2 wheels no matter the temperature. Thank goodness it doesn't precipitate much here.

Back in the day I ran 1" sheet metal screws from the inside out on my CT70, double tubed it and towed my brother around on a sled. It worked awesome, but eventually the screw heads poked through and made the tube leak.

I rode a DRZ200 on the street all winter here, just sheet metal screws from the outside in and replaced them as they wore from the pavement. That winter was blast, only crashed 2-3 times (clean pavement was the slipperiest).
Now I have been iceracing for over 25 years, its an addiction like my jetski's. Here's me on my wifes bike (blew my motor up).
