kawtipper and I are going to go riding tomorrow after work at ray hubbard. if he can get off early. get off at 3:30, have a safty meeting, and hit the lake. can be on the lake by 5:30. it is supose to be 86 and windy.

come join the fun.

Great day for everybody's whos boat ran. Mine, unfortunately, decided not to do so well in that department yesterday. I was really ticked that it quit running when I was way less than halfway done riding. I get sooooo spoiled, cuz the boats are very maintenance free for me! :purr:

Before I commit to a Thu ride, I have to wait for the expert mechanic to figure out the fuel problem (he's pretty sure it needs a carb rebuild) and have time to enact repairs/get parts if necessary. I suspect he'll work pretty hard at it since that's one of his favorite ride spots when the wind is right. Not that he couldn't go without me or that I couldn't ride the FX1, but I must admit, I might pout for a couple days if I had to go without my SN (my fav at this point).

OMG, you're right! I forgot to sing the Scarecrow song! Dang it, that's what did it! Although I was singing it in the car on the way there. You'd think that would have covered it.

Me, too, on the earworm. My problem is, I can never remember all the words, so only bits of it run through the ol' dusty gyra. (that's brain parts and has nothing to do with the ol' dusty 'gina, so don't be startin' nothin' you filthy monkeys)

I can totally see them all dangling there on the crosses, but I cannot get the melody in my head except the chorus. Thanks, birdy, that'll do well to get out the cheerful scarecrow song. Now I'll only have that little dab of chorus to cheer me up. Blehhhhh. :nana:
