I have cut off 3'' from the back of my sn, I am now trying to figure out what length ride plate would be the best to go with. I am either going stock length, stock with D cut, cut flush with the back end, or flush with D cut. If anyone that has modified the back of the hull can chime in with what you run for a ride plate I would really appreciate it. I will ride mostly flat water and some surf during the summer.

I have a -2 RN hull. I have been using the stock rideplate (not shortened) with a D-cut.
I am loving the handling, so I haven't cut it flush.
