removing superjet motor, quick question.

im pulling my SJ motor this week. anything i need to remember while pulling it? its just the motor mounts, electrical box and it should come straight up? besides taking exhaust hose off pipe stinger.

1. Keep the motor mount shims organized (or marked) so you know what goes where.

2. Disconnect fuel lines into & out of carb(s), and throttle & choke (or primer) cables/hoses

3. It's easiest to remove the electrical box from the firewall (2 nuts) & ly it on top of the head.

Don't forget water lines, especially from the pump to the engine.

Pull forward a couple of inches to clear coupler, then straight up.

Nah - throw it all in a bucket and get it good and mixed up. That way when you put it back together you have to figure out how everything works and you end up learning more :biggthumpup: :wink:

And like any good re-build job....it's not complete unless you have a couple of bolts left over:banghead:
