removing old hydroturf

What is the best way to remove old Hydroturf? Half of it just peels off and then leaves some areas stuck there. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Lift a corner of it and get a razor blade and slice it at the hull when you peel it up. it will take most of it at once but you will need to do some more scrapping to get it all off.

I like to use a 2-3" brass wire wheel "cup" brush.
After you get the bulk off, use the cup brush on a drill and it will rip off the glue and the turf remnants.

Gas. Let it soak in for a sec, then it will come right off.

Use one of these....it makes turf removal easy...like peeling a banana :Banane35:. Harbor Frt. has a cheap one for occasional use under $40.00.

Best removal tool. Have to be careful with the gelcoat though.
