Super Jet red top 44's

got a question about these carbs. there red top 44's. from what iv been told. im rebuilding them and the gaskets that come out are set up like 38's should be. minimal gaskets. why? is there any reason that all the gaskets arent being used like 44's should. i dont really no how to figure out if there 38's that have been bored to 44's. any help would be great. im just stumped on the gaskets. they have been run on this rn 701 with lightning pipe and trition head. i think its an old race ski because it had race weights between the motormounts. thanks in advance shannon
 
ok then why on the diagram does it show 2 different diagrams one for 38's and one for 44's. and it shows the 44's using pretty much all the supplied gaskets and diaphrams and the 38's only using a few. im not disagreing with you im just curious on why they would show that. i think im going to put back in what i took out and leave it.
 
ya im an idiot. i havent got to the one with the fuel pump yet. see im jumping to conclusions without knowing all the fact. oh well its a honest mistake. thanks
