anyone bothered to rebuild their starter? a new oem was $400!!! mine was still working when i put the ski up for the winter. i pulled the starter to clean the engine cases. previous owner let it see some salt and not flush it well. i took it apart and it had quite a bit of corrosion. cleaned it with some WD, wirebrush, and elbow grease. for and aft seals were bad so ordered some oem replacement seals and have greased it well. i'm gonna find out if its worth rebuilding or not. just wanted to find out what u guys are doing with them.

call jetskisolutions.... he has all the parts.... but call him- I dont think all the parts are on his website... or you can get a cheap used oem starter and you can rape it for its parts
