Over the winter I built my first blaster. Its awesome, but all stock with stock 61x exhaust[thanks sparkplug!] . I ended up trading a pair of carbs for another blaster thats a hull only and figured why not try and fit a 760 pipe in there, they give great linear power and I don't really care if I destroy this hull lol. Also the buzzard posted a pic of someone who tried it before so I figured it was do-able.

Verdict: it fits! Just barely though, with a lot of cutting. First up we have a comparison of the 701 [left side] vs 760 exhausts. You can see the 760 manifold is much nicer both outside and in with smooth bends not just a log. Also, the 760 stinger is quite different. Head pipes are different but it seems like its just external vs internal water cooling. Expansion chambers are the same part number. I went with the 760 exhaust.

First step is to mock up and cut a small hole and see whats up.

Then you keep cutting. I wanted to cut as little as possible at first, I will clean it up when its all finished and I'm ready to fiberglass everything.

Last was cutting threw the bulkhead. What a pain! Its like 1-1.5" thick. Hole saw, sawzall, and dremel were all used.
