Yes, they were about 3-5% lighter than oem. Never logged exact weight, so cant compare to ADR.
Back in the pro mod days, we all used a company called Fallicon to lighten oem cranks.
They also Stroked them for us. Pro-tec and RAD were the only ones back then to produce a
Strokers. +5 & +8 were the go to strokes at that time that I messed with.

Good to know! Does the pork chop style RAD crank have benefits over typical oem style cranks?

I always felt the pork chop had an advantage over the full circle crank in they produced a fanning effect to assist in blowing the fuel charge into the transfers. Robert Browning of RAD had very good ideas, and made them work.
The RAD cranks were always the best and most dependable

Hmm interesting. I heard something about them causing more vibration for freestyle skis but Idk. Currently running a 5mil RAD and was planning on preventively rebuilding it. Have a line on a new ADR though and trying to decide what to do!

You will probably have trouble rebuilding it? Nobody has parts for them anymore. They used custom pins.
If you do try? Call Phil at Crankworks. He was the last rebuilder I used that was able to successfully do it .

Hmmm I didn't know it needed custom pins. Thought it just needed stock yami rods and parts..

Just got off the phone with Jeff at competitive crankshaft. He said since mine uses standard yamaha rods that I wouldn't need custom pins and even if it does he's got em. 450 bucks.
I talked about getting an adr 5mil full circle(can get a new old stock one from someone one I know) and he said it would stuff the cases better but I shouldn't chase my tail because the RAD is a great crank.
