R & R Cylinders ??

Has anyone ever heard of R & R Cylinders?

A friends yamaha Superjet 650 has Cylinders with:

R & R
375 =South=

Stamped on them.
also has 175 psi compression.

They are aftermarket but just wondering who makes/made them and are they any good?? His superjet 650 is really fast.

Hollywood,those are going to be race ported cylinders,those guys were all about racing they wouldn't know a freestyle boat if it bit them on the arse.

My buddies ski with these cylinders was alot faster ( all round) than any other 650cc I have ever rode. I would say it was even faster than a superjet with a stock 701 in it.

My friend owns his own business and needs cash bad so he is parting out the ski.
What is a motor with the R&R cylinder worth?? 170 psi compression, electronics included!

Scott never competed on a 650 sj.

But a bunch of racers used their stuff, Harry Goatcher, Watty, several others who I cannot remember their names.

Funny, I use to work for R&R as a service manager (that's where I met todd L) for about 3 years till they sold to powersports. They were the top dogs in the business back in the day along with Riva. Ray was always involved with the high performance stuff .

Ron, R&R machinest for 20 years, is still around and working for a local dealership. I still use his skills to do all my stroker machining. He is a perfectionist and the absolute best at what he does.
